Seth Schrenzel, Chief Executive Officer
With nearly 20 years of special event experience, Seth has been with High Rock Security since it’s inception in 2009, and has worked in event security and event medical since 2001. In addition, he has extensive experience in event traffic management and access control. He is passionate about the experience of our clients, our communities, and our employees.
Seth holds degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, has worked as an emergency room nurse, was a USAF firefighter, operates a successful pop-up pizza shop, and lives in Gerlach, Nevada.
Wally Bomgaars, Chief Financial Officer
Wally has worked in the security field since 1999. From 2008 - 2015, he was the Safety Manager for Burning Man, overseeing all safety and security related departments at the event. Coming from the event world, Wally started High Rock Security with the vision of providing the best security for all clients, with an emphasis on mediation and community focus.
Wally holds a degree in Business Management and is trained as an Emergency First Responder and in martial arts. Wally is also a experienced chef and an a financial coach.
Michael Black, Chief of Operations
Michael, aka Crow, brings over 20 years of experience working security to his role as COO for High Rock. Crow is also currently the Operations Manager of the Black Rock Rangers at Burning Man, and has 18 years of experience working as a public safety dispatcher in high traffic environments. He is an Emergency Medical Responder and a HAM operator, with training in martial arts, Search & Rescue, tracking, wildland firefighting, and as a Federal Law Enforcement Ranger.
Kai Chotard, Operations Manager
Kai has been in security services since 1995 and has trained as an Emergency First Response Instructor. He has over 18 years experience in management, leadership, human resources, and organizational development.
As Operations Manager, Kai uses innovative training and professional development techniques with High Rock Security staff. He has extensive experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of instructional programs and management assessment models.
Kai enjoys streamlining operations, managing inventories, developing and implementing organizational solutions, and implementing human resources tools to impact accomplishment of strategic goals.
Kai practices the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira and is an active scuba diver. Having traveled the world extensively, he is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and works well with people from all backgrounds.
